Job TitleSenior Application Support Analyst
What does the role involve day to day?We have a fantastic 15 month opportunity for a Senior Application Support Analyst to join the team.

In this role you will lead, manage and support the SLC systems function. The systems function principally support Finance/HR/Commercial Systems. This role will lead the team to ensure the provision of a robust, secure, efficient and effective service to our customers; ensuring that systems are available and meet the needs of the business.

What we are looking for
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a finance and/or HR department, in a systems role, and preferably gained within financial services or a public sector environment
  • Experience and technical systems knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite and Hyperion is essential
  • Exposure to a range of other financial systems would be beneficial. Role holder will also be expected to have knowledge and technical skills in:
  • oAPEX
  • oBusiness Intelligence Reporting (Design and Development)
  • oETL Tools
  • oHyperion Calculation rules
  • oSQL
  • Prior experience of Project Managing/Technical lead in system implementations
  • Ability to review business processes and gather business requirements
  • Strong knowledge of patching, change management and implementation of systems changes
  • Strong interpersonal and negation skills, to work with delivery partners and internal support departments to ensure system administration, maintenance, security and enhancements are in place and the framework ensures an excellent level of service to our customers
  • A strong understanding Technical Layers that underpin applications e.g. Hyperion Essbase, Databases and connectivity between systems
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coach and develop individuals.
