A new Sales Engineer is required for an industrial sensor and measurement systems manufacturer. The role will cover the Southern region of the UK and the successful candidate is expected to travel to new and existing markets to grow this area of the business. We are looking for an extremely motivated, highly energised individual, who can identify growth opportunities and demonstrate tenacity and drive in delivering objectives. This Sales Engineer role is suitable for candidates who are experienced in reviewing customer applications and presenting a pragmatic technical solution confidently. The role of 'Sales Engineer' will include the following: - Account management of existing client base. - Develop strategies and tactics to ensure the development, delivery and promotion of their product portfolio. - Build awareness of the companies full product capability and be able to confidently communicate this with key contacts - Analyse and identify growth opportunities to ensure profitability - Identify and segment existing database of prospects. - Facilitate engineering and commercial meetings at a high level with key accounts - Develop clear communication channels and working practices with all stakeholders The suitable candidate for Sales Engineer will need to possess the following competences: - Communicate at a technical level to all stakeholders - Identify and discuss in detail customer requirements - Select most appropriate products which match the specific requirement of the customer - Present proposals confidently which will include product demonstrations - Overcome objections and win business - Be commercially aware and focused with business development, account management and relationship building If you are an experienced Sales Engineer and you seek an exciting role within a leading manufacturer, then please click on the link to apply or contact Ed Smith - Automation Recruitment Specialist - or call **************
