Key Recruitment are working with a company based in Portsmouth who are seeking a legal secretary with PI/Litigation expreience to join a well established and friendly team. The role will suit somebody who's currently working in a similar position and looking to join a company who encourages you to work autonomously and take on additional responsibility. Duties will include: - Administrative duties for fee earners and Directors. - Use of digital dictation system to undertake timely and accurate audio typing, managing diaries, taking and passing on messages and maintaining files (in particular large complex ones); - Completion of relevant department forms; - Proactively communicate in writing and in person on administration and routine matters; - Prepare Bills and court documents when requested to do so; - Assist in opening and closing of files as and when necessary; - Ensure that all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner; - Produce hard copy documents by using Microsoft Office and DPS document management system; - Ensure that all filing is up to date; - Organisation of workload, files, dictation, telephone and faxes; - Attend department meetings; - Undertake relevant internal and external training where required; - Train and assist other members of the team where necessary; - Comply with Law Society/ Lexcel standards/office manual/contract of employment; If this role is of interest please send your CV to ************************* or telephone Tracey Dicker on ************ ext 207 for further information.
