Creative Projects Assistant Vision On Design is a dynamic, entrepreneurial Design & Display Solutions Business, which provides its household name clients with a unique, end to end service. Products range from building wraps and illuminated signage, to retail displays and props. This is a varied administrative role and you will be involved in the provision of support to our Creative Concept Team as well as our Projects Team. Responsibilities will include: ·Sourcing visual merchandising props and other creative artwork requirements ·Completing research for the Creative Concept Team that will help develop scheme concepts ·Populating job sheets with the information required by the Production team so that they know what is required by the Client and by when You will already possess administration experience as well as GSCE grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent). Due to the nature of the work you will need to be numerate, computer literate (working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook) and be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills. As you will be liaising with internal departments in order to obtain information, you will need to be confident in speaking with other people. It will be advantageous if you can offer qualifications, knowledge and experience in a number of the following areas: ·Working knowledge of one or more of the following Adobe packages: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (essential) ·An art / design-related qualification at A level or above ·Experience in retail / concept design with portfolio examples ·Experience in the installation of window displays and in-store visual merchandising ·A good idea of materials and finishes for window / in-store designs ·Work experience gained within the print industry A self motivated and well organised individual, you have a good eye for detail and a flexible approach to work. You will need to be able to prioritise multiple jobs at any one time and work to varying deadlines. You will demonstrate a superb 'can do' attitude and a genuine desire to produce excellent and relevant creative and design solutions. You will be based at our production and head office facility at Ossett which is located just off junction 40 of the M1. Your normal work days will be Mon-Fri (37.5 hours, 9am-5pm). The role will require work to be occasionally undertaken on an evening / weekend / early morning. The role attracts a salary of £16k - £17k subject to experience.
