An International Technology consultancy is looking for a strategic salesperson to help grow out their Financial Services practice. My client is a global consultancy company experiencing huge growth across the UK and EMEA. JOB TITLE: Retail Sales Specialist LOCATION: London, South East PACKAGE: £100k basic, £200k OTE uncapped plus full corporate benefits package COMPANY INFORMATION - Long recognised as a leading partner of both Microsoft and Oracle in Europe, our client has developed deep expertise around leading technologies such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Business Intelligence (BI) - 6000+ employees globally (circa 500 in the UK) - Offices in over 20 countries - Customers in over 50 countries - Delivery centres in Europe, USA, China and India - Client base includes 35 percent of the Fortune 100 and 25 percent of the Global 100, along with many mid-market leaders - Dynamic, agile, entrepreneurial business which has the clout of a tier 1, but the agility to shape the business to the client's needs to ensure business can be done quickly and efficiently KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Genuine new business hunter - Retail vertical specialist - Not from a product sales background - 5+ years of technology lead sales - Must be a solution salesperson ROLE INFORMATION - This is fantastic opportunity to join one of the world's largest IT companies in their IT consulting practice. - My client is currently investing heavily in growing their European business through strategic investment in marketing, sales, and delivery capacity in response to increasing client demand for their services. - A number of their new business sales team has already passed their annual target before the half year, and most of the rest are on track to take full advantage of the uncapped commission scheme. The top new business performer in 2016 delivered £13m against a £5m target - This market opportunity has created a chance for a new Business Development Manager to join the team and be focused on selling innovative industry solutions, leveraging their market-leading position in emerging technologies including: IoT, Big Data and Machine Learning that build on established expertise in Information Management, Analytics and Business Intelligence, Packaged Implementations around Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Financials and HCM, Software Development, Systems Integration, Collaboration Solutions, Hybrid Cloud, and Managed Service - This role is focused on extending the Retail industry practice, through adding significant new accounts to the existing portfolio, which includes Tesco, John Lewis, Wiggle, Whitbread and Mitchells & Butlers. - You will be selling targeted solutions, developed by in-house technology and industry experts. The focus of your sales engagements will be on creating industry specific solutions and your own IP, rather than just selling day rate implementations. As such they need a candidate who can articulate this type of experience in their own background (where you've taken a broad offering to market and have constructed a solution/proposition to take to your customers). - Working with strong support from marketing and in-house lead generation, along with exceptional backup from pre-sales and delivery resource. - Working on six and seven figure consulting led deals - Covering the UK as your focus, but you can also sell across Europe if you identify these opportunities.
