We have been retained by our client, a rapidly growing consumer orientated fintech organisation to, to support them in a search for a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a new position in the finance function and will report into the Group CFO. We are looking for a versatile and energetic financial professional to join the team, this person will provide detailed financial analysis to the Board in order to support group wide development, innovation and strategic decision making. At the core of your talent will be an ability to communicate and transform in-depth financial analysis into a clear format for a wide group of stakeholders to understand. You will deliver, genuine, value-add financial reporting, forecasting & analysis services to a dynamic business. Key responsibilities and main tasks - Ensure revenue and KPI linkages, possessing astute ability to drive efficiencies with a proactive growth mind-set - Active support of the Marketing & Acquisition functions - Liaise with marketing internally and external agencies to ensure financials are accurately recorded and planned optimally - Support marketing team with innovative profitability analysis and guidance, pre- and post-product launch - Consistently review and report on acquisition spend and media campaign results - Perform ad-hoc financial project management and general finance/accounting activities - Product monthly performance reports and variance analysis - Support the delivery of the annual performance targets - Participate in strategic projects involving business modelling and 'what if' scenarios Requirements for the role - Higher education with specific financial qualifications (CCAB) - 2-5 years relevant financial and analytical experience - Experience within either the Financial Services or Consumer facing industries - Advanced Excel skills - Strong financial modelling skills - Innovative, collaborative and strategic thinker - Leadership skills and preferably experience of managing and organising the work of a team of specialists - knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) software would be beneficial, though not essential - Reliability, responsibility, self-control - Attentiveness to detail, punctuality and organisation
