Due to our substantial growth we are looking to expand our Global Cyber Securityteam based here in London. This role will suit someone looking to continue to grow a career in cyber security with excellent training and mentoring from the Cyber SecurityManager and the Cyber Security team. We have a professional but relaxed office environment and the chance to join one of our leadership development programmes. Role Overview Key elements of the role will include: - Penetration testing and vulnerability management - Secure configuration and hardening - Incident response and investigations - Security monitoring and threat hunting - Security operations, metrics & reporting Responsibilities - Operate and refine the global vulnerability scanning and remediation programme, managing scans and results, engaging with asset owners to assist with remediation, and reporting progress - Operate and refine the global penetration testing programme, planning tests, managing logistics and pre-requisites, reviewing results, managing remediation and arranging re-testing - Operate and refine the security of Dentsu Aegis Network 's network infrastructure, developing and enforcing standard configuration, governing access control lists and managing network security appliances Develop and maintain our SIEM capability: - Review alerts and launch deeper investigations where appropriate - Develop new correlation rules and refine existing rules - Maintain and support the SIEM platform, including managing future growth - Seek innovative methods to improve security and deliver business benefit from the SIEM platform - Act as a member of the global CSIRT team, responding to security incidents, co-ordinating incident investigations and performing specialist analysis - Provide guidance to our outsourced IT partner on handling operational security incidents, queries and service requests - Conduct periodic technical security configuration reviews on our infrastructure assets (firewalls, servers, network storage, cloud tenants, etc) - Sit on the global patch board providing security input to patching decisions - Maintain an awareness of the security industry and trends at a general level as well as specific information about applicable events and vulnerabilities - Be prepared to take on assessment and implementation projects for new or changing security capabilities, such as conducting technology Proof of Concepts and building improved internal tools and capabilities as required - Provide regular reports and metrics covering cyber security operations and projects - Prepare and maintain documentation for security procedures, processes and standards Candidate Profile This role would suit someone with a technical mindset who wants to develop their career in cyber security. This is an entry/junior level role, so you will not be expected to demonstrate expertise in all listed areas from day one. Instead you will be highly motivated to aquire this expertise through a combination of self-study, work experience and supported training, including working towards relevant industry certifications. Beyond strong technical focus, the you will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate and collaborate with other security team members as well as non-technical colleagues. Creating reports and updates explaining and showcasing projects and investigations you are responsible for Lastly, be willing to learn from more experienced team members while also having the initiative and self-confidence to propose and defend your own ideas and suggestions.
