Field Project / Process Engineer Offshore , Heat Transfer, Process/Mechanical Engineering, ASME, Welding, Pressure Vessel Location - Dorset with approx 50% International Travel Remuneration - £45-50k Basic + Away From Home Allowance A wonderful and rather unique career opportunity for an experienced Field Project Engineer to work for this designer and manufacturer of products for the Oil and Gas , Chemical Processing and Power Generation Industries. Based out of their Dorset HQ you will travel (around 50%) to clients sometimes assisting with technical bids or meetings , other times getting your "hands dirty" resolving technical issues, hence you will be comfortable in both a suit as well as overalls ! When not in the field you will be working from their offices near Bournemouth , gathering and reviewing customer operational performance data, analysing and producing technical reports. When on customer site you could have a variety of responsibilities , from hosting an ASME certification inspection, to troubleshooting, fixing, maintaining , testing the company products , which can be both on or offshore, and anywhere in the world. You coud be involved in high level business meetings with potentially new, as well as existing clients , and on occassions develop and deliver operator training and workshops. Field Engineer - The Person : - First class customer facing skills - Comfortable with worldwide travel spending up to 1-3 weeks away from home Technical Engineering background in some of : - Chemical Engineering - Process Engineering Equipment - Heat Transfer/Heat Exchanger engineering - Ideally experience of working on offshore platforms oil and gas work - Understanding of ASME Certification If you meet the above technical requirements for this position and are open to a job with extensive world wide travel where you will gain 1st class training and development from day 1 - then apply now !
