C#.Net Software Development Team Leader / Manager - C#, SQL, MVC Frodsham, Near Runcorn - Commute via Northwich, Knutsford, Chester, Warrington, Merseyside To £60K + Bonus + Benefits Dynamic consultancy specialising in sourcing, developing, supplying and supporting mobile enterprise solutions, requires experienced lead C#.NET Software Developer, to do 50% hands on development and 50% software development team leadership. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with an established programme delivery team alongside software designers, solutions architects and business analysts. To be considered for this role you will be a Senior Software Developer or Team Leader with 5 years' experience in a Microsoft Development role/s, ideally with a working technical knowledge of (or having enthusiasm to work with) mobile operating systems (primarily Android) and Web Based applications (C#.NET, MVC, JavaScript). You must have 2 years+ experience leading and line managing C#.NET developers. Desirable: Project management experience holding a Prince 2 certification, or similar. Agile experience ideally with SCRUM certification or equivalent is sought after. This role will suit a good communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with business and senior stakeholders and to manage objections and approvals efficiently across the range of product, legal and compliance based stakeholders. The Role: Reporting to the Director of Software the primary function of the Senior Software Team Lead will be to implement and lead multiple small and large software/mobile application development projects from the concept through to go live - acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of the rest of the technical team members to deliver projects according to plan. Day to day you will line management of 8 developers (probably in stages) and including: Holiday and sickness, performance management, personal development, annual reviews, training and mentoring, promoting best practice, code reviews, demonstrating good design patterns, unit tests etc. Also drive better build and CI, scrum team discipline, allocation of resources and tasks, collaborate with other teams, have customer interactions as required and keeping abreast of third party integration technologies worked with or being investigated.
