Application Consultant - Birmingham I am working with a Global organisation who support the retail industry with technology solutions. In-line with their huge growth plans, we are looking to hire a Business Analyst who is experienced with retail software applications. This is a Permanent position based in the Midlands. Role Responsibilities: - You will be present at the initiation phase of projects and represent my client's products to all retail end clients - Successfully build strong relationships, both with stakeholders and end customers - You will be responsible for all Business Analysis tasks (gathering of requirements, functional specifications, gap analysis, process documentation, AS-IS and TO-BE process maps) - Responsible for analysing and creating functional specifications - Provide SOE estimates for all project work - You must demonstrate adaptability to new techniques and methodologies - You will play a key part in the delivery of application training to head office users Skills / Experience required: - You will have the ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of retail organisations and their business processes - Demonstrate a high level of knowledge around applications - Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Consultant within the retail industry - Excellent client facing and communication skills - Experience in liaising with senior stakeholders and facilitating customer workshops - You must be willing to travel to client sites located across EMEA - If you hold a Business Analysis certification this is desirable but not essential - If you are able to demonstrate an understanding of full EPOS / POS retail systems, this is highly desirable Please apply online with your CV.
