Management Accountant job. Cardiff.
Your new organisation
My client is a finance department within the NHS. The department is located just outside of Cardiff and is made up of six finance professionals. The department provides comprehensive financial management advice, support and information to NHS managers. Due to the a peak in workload they are looking to recruit a temporary management accountant for a minimum period of six weeks.
Your new role
Reporting into the team's deputy head of finance you will be responsible for supporting the team on three key projects including budgeting, mid-year review and providing financial information for medium term planning. Depending on the project this role could include the production of accurate monthly financial positions, business cases, development of costing systems, supporting and advising budget holders on financial matters and investigating complex financial enquiries. This role is full-time thirty seven and a half hours per week.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a part qualified or qualified accountant with previous experience working in a management accounts post. You will possess strong numerical and analytical skills and an ability to use a variety of software and computer applications. You will be a good communicator and be able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
