Role - Frontend Manager Location - London Type - Permanent Salary - £60k to £75k Start - ASAP I am currently on the lookout for a frontend lead/team manager for a gaming organisation in Central London. You will be ideal for the role if you have worked as a lead javascript/web developer and have experience in a managerial position. The organisation is one with a start up feel but have enjoyed sustained growth over the last 8 years. As the frontend manager you will be leading a multi-tasked frontend development team working on large scale projects for both new and existing clients. You will be involved in software development and design, managing scalabale architecture, improving the CI/CD pipeline and writing unit tests.The organisation are javascript framework agnostic and you should be comfortable and willing to work in more than one framework as well a good understanding of how javascript works. The technologies and experience you will need to be successful in this role include - Javascript Vanilla JS Experience working on large scale commercial solutions Active member of the javascript online community Experience with at least one javascript framework including Angular, React, Ember, Backbone etc Good unit testing Awareness of javascript code bundling strategies, particularly ES6 and ES7 You should also have experience in the following - Managing a development team Hands on technical skills Issue management Release management Recruitment Testing Inspirational Leadership If you feel you are suitable for the role and would like to hear more information about the company please apply through the advert and I will be in contact to discuss in more detail.
