Your new company
This well-established organisation based in Christchurch are seeking an additional .Net Developer to join their team. It's a business that has grown organically and where customer care/service is paramount. You will have the chance to progress within the company to lead level, though your focus should be on hands on software development for the coming years.
Your new role
You will be predominantly be working on to develop and maintain front and back end customer facing applications/services. The project work varies in scope and there is also spin off work from much larger core projects to support their business systems. If you are passionate about mobile development there is an avenue to pursue this as well.
The systems are intricate and complex so require developers to gain an understanding of the application architecture. There is a lot of autonomy and the team you will be joining are highly experienced, skilled modern .net developers. There's also investment and paid for Microsoft Certifications for developers to maintain a high performance culture.
What you'll need to succeed
You should consider yourself a mid or senior level .Net developer highly proficient using C#.
Experience working with Asp.Net MVC or WEB API will be highly beneficial and also crucial for the role is a deep knowledge of SQL Server.
Exposure to front end technologies and legacy .Net technologies will be advantageous, as will mobile solution development or service programming utilising Windows Services.
You should be a proponent of Agile as the team currently rotate on 2 week sprints utilising Scrum.
