A Senior Technical Trainer role in Cheadle, 26-28k

Your new company
An exciting opportunity to join a fast growing team, operating within the specialist lending arena. As Technical Trainer for a specific team, you will be responsible for the end to end colleague journey from on-boarding to competency sign off. You will also ensure the continued technical development of existing colleagues within that team to meet the aspirations of this growing business.

Your new role
You will work with department managers and team leaders to identify the required training for all new starters so that structured on-boarding programmes can be designed and deployed. You will create, maintain, manage and deliver a full suite of effective and engaging training modules for new starters so that knowledge is gained and embedded, tracking the progress of new starters providing insight and reporting data to key stakeholders. Working with stakeholders to identify operational training needs at an individual, team and department level, you will work to ensure operational effectiveness is continuously enhanced, and that required knowledge is embedded as quickly and effectively as possible, eg new processes or system changes. Additionally you will support the development / improve the competency of the training team by undertaking monthly, 6 monthly and annual staff reviews.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a training role, designing and delivering programmes, have strong influencing skills and personal gravitas - seen as the 'go to' person for Operational Training . You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of designing, developing and delivering training interventions, along with a proven ability to develop colleague capability - so ideally you will have held a lead role within a training department previously. You will need the ability to translate and train operational policies, procedures and processes, develop strong relationships across and outside of the business unit. You will be highly organised with a flexible, can-do and resilient approach, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of circa 26-28k depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
