Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Resource Manager/PMO Manager for an initially 6 month contract based in London Essential experience: - Experience of working in a portfolio, transformation programme or a programme management office - Experience of defining a profiled comparison of demand and supply for constrained resources throughout the planning period, highlighting periods of slack and under-capacity. - Strong knowledge of and direct experience in applying portfolio, programme, and change management approaches such as MoP and MSP - A clear understanding of the principles of resource management and how to effectively apply these to project and programme management - Experience of processing complex data in order to provide concise and meaningful information to effectively manage the supply and demand of resources - A working knowledge and application of Microsoft Office and Project across major change programmes - Previous experience of working in (local) government, a security agency or policing is essential.
