A Social Media Analyst is required to join a well-known, large, local bank. You will be working alongside a Social Insights Manager to help develop our social listening capability and deliver cutting-edge, actionable insight for the Group. The role will develop the social insights offering for the bank, using a range of technologies (including social monitoring, community tracking and social benchmarking) to deliver actionable insights that will inform brand and social strategies for the Group. Key Accountabilities: * Act as a source of professional expertise to help shape and deliver social marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on your social insight capabilities to ensure social is adding value in a measureable and impactful way * Collaborate and partner with Marcomms & Brand and Customer Strategy teams to deliver insight to help develop digital marketing initiatives based on customer and market insights (broader than competitor), considering capability, capacity and the wider business and regulatory context * Build and maintain external and internal network to support business delivery, particularly regarding your specialist social insight and marketing knowledge * Identify, monitor and mitigate commercial risks, escalating where appropriate * Demonstrating to the business the value of the social marketing and social listening through reporting and analytics amplifying good new stories and sharing best practice * Implement strategy to maximise value generated from social media * Social Platform and channel relationships: managing the relationships and roadmap with our existing and potential social channels to ensure we are getting the most value and understand the opportunities Essential skills/experience: * Experienced in delivering key insights and influencing strategy * Ability to interpret and present data and insights and translate into actionable insights * Effective decision maker * Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify business questions, analyse complex data and the initiative to use this to deliver actionable recommendations to drive performance improvement of programmes * An understanding of digital and social marketing: how social works and what data points can be collected, including both opportunities and limitations, and how social marketing performance can be measured. * A strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks within the financial services industry desirable * A numerical/statistical degree (or relevant experience) in analytics / marketing and professional qualification is highly desirable * Experience of social platforms such as Sprinklr, Sysmos, Crimson Hexagon, SocialBakers etc * Experience of online analytics tool such as Webtrends or Google Analytics etc is highly desirable If you feel like you're a good fit for the role, please apply immediately and we will attempt to respond within 48 working hours.
