It Project Manager - London My Client is one of the Leading Transport Company's in the UK, based in Central London. They employ over 26,000 in the UK. Based at their offices in Westminster, London. You will have strong experience in Project Management with excellent Stakeholder engagement and good experience delivering complex IT projects in a fast paced and challenging environment. The Salary is 45,000 - £50,000 depending upon experience please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract with a view to extend after this stage This is a fast-paced role, where you will have the opportunity to work on bleeding edge technology's, with a really friendly team, in great offices. They are looking for someone with a positive "can do" attitude with a willingness to learn and develop their skills. You will have previous experience of IT Project Management between 5- 10 years and working in a Fast-paced role. As the successful it Project Manager, you will have the following experience: - You must have the right to work and live in the UK without restrictions - Degree qualified or equivalent - Qualified to degree standard or equivalent - Prince 2 Project Practitioner Qualification - Technically-oriented PM - Experience of delivering complex IT projects in a fast paced and challenging environment - ITSO knowledge desirable - Worked in Rail desirable - Excellent Stakeholder Engagement - Excellent written and oral communication - Able to manage upwards - Ability to lead meetings and present to project Boards and senior management. - Excellent attention to detail - Demonstrable ability of successfully managing complex multi-faceted projects to time and budget As the successful IT Project Manager, your day to day responsibilities shall be as follows: - Assist the Company's senior Project Manager in delivering the STNR project. - Assist the Company's senior Project Manager in delivering the MTS / Envoy project. - In addition, the PM will assist the project through the additional phases of ITSO enhancements. - The post-holder will be required to assist in managing the projects to successful delivery within Company's Prince 2 project governance structures, as defined by PMO. - The PM will formally report to a project board and deliver routine project update reports to board members and other stakeholders. - The post-holder will report to the Company's Retail Programme Manager and will also liaise with the Head of PMO How to apply for IT Project Manager If you meet the requirements for this role and are keen to embark on your next challenge then please apply to the links below.
