Lecturer - Functional Skills Construction Based at: Stroud and Filton Campuses Salary Range: £21,570 - £29,715 pro rata per annum (Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience) Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37 hours per week South Gloucestershire & Stroud College has an excellent reputation for delivering further education and work-based programmes in a range of subjects - from business to sport, engineering to media, GCSE's and A Levels to degree level courses. The Faculty of Construction and Engineering is looking to appoint an experienced practitioner to deliver Functional Skills English and Maths to our fulltime learners based at our Filton and Stroud Campus. We are looking for a candidate who has a track record of delivering high success rates to learners studying Functional Skills from Entry level through to, and including, Level 2. We are looking for a person who can inspire and challenge learners to achieve their full potential and recognises the importance of developing Literacy and Numeracy skills in young people. We may be willing to split these hours according to the skill set of the applicant.
