Position Objectives & Summary
· Successfully grows the business with assigned key accounts, qualitatively (NPS survey) and quantitatively (Financial targets)
· Advises assigned key accounts on the full spectrum of Corporate Solutions products and solutions offering
· Creates individual client's strategy in order to build long-term and profitable partnerships with them.
· Positions Corporate Solutions as the port of call for all insurable risks.
· Manages all aspects of the client relationships and is responsible for the financial results, with emphasis on profitability.

Main Tasks/Activities
· Client Focus.
· Serves as primary point of contact for assigned clients.
· Identifies client needs, develops individual client strategy and action plan and follows through with appropriate activities.
· Organises and leads the virtual client team with representatives of various functions in order to achieve the key objectives defined in the strategy paper.
· Leads the internal process for delivering products and solutions to assigned clients.
· Establishes negotiation strategy and plays a key role in client negotiations.
· Manages sensitive client issues.
· Builds rapport and partnership with key contacts at assigned clients (incl. C-Suite).
· Assumes responsibility for assigned client results (qualitatively & quantitatively).
· Pro-actively retains existing business and originates new business opportunities and expands Corporate Solutions's share of wallet (SoW), incl. the ability to originate non-standard solutions.

Market Focus
· Plays key role of intelligence gatherer for Corporate Solutions in the market associated with assigned key accounts
· Thoroughly understands the assigned clients business model as well as associated cash flows and resulting risks. Uses this knowledge to identify risk mitigating solutions in order to expand Corporate Solutions's share of wallet (SoW)
· Identifies client's services and education needs and facilitates services offering to the extent available and execution of seminars/events/trainings
· Understands and considers the broker community as an integral part of the business environment where deemed appropriate

Compliance and Controlling
· Ensures compliance with all Corporate Solutions guidelines, underwriting and pricing parameters, best practices as well as Code of Conduct
· Ensures that relevant Group and Divisional deadlines are met

Performance Measurement Criteria
· Profitable growth (EVM profitability of existing & new business)
· No. of large and non-standard transactions with profitable bottom line contribution
· Ability to successfully transform business leads into bound transactions
· Defined individual KAM KPIs as per the KPI dashboard

Job requirements (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills)

Educational background
· University degree or equivalent with a strong business component preferred

Professional experience
· Several years of practice in insurance, reinsurance and/or banking or corporate risk management
· Broad background encompassing several functions in international risk & capital management environment
· Proven track record as successful originator and dealmaker

Leadership qualities:
· Ability to co-ordinate teams and build consensus around client approach
· Ability to identify and articulate Corporate Solutions's value to clients
· Comfortable in managing cross-cultural teams
· Able to manage time efficiently and co-ordinate activities of others on client team
· Strong entrepreneurial spirit
· Strong desire to be a leading innovator in the market

Language
· Written and verbal communication skills in English with preferably knowledge of other languages, e.g. German

Analytical skills:
· Ability to analyse and interpret client financials and promote coverage structures that add value to clients business needs
· Strong market research capabilities to maintain a comprehensive picture of conditions in the market

Personal qualities
· Comfortable/presentable in senior management environment (Treasury/CFO)
· Able to present proposal or solution clearly with confidence
· Cultural sensitivity; knows how to interact effectively in assigned market business cultures
· Well developed relationship, selling/advisory skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Team player
· Strong negotiation skills

Background:
· Excellent financial, analytical and interpersonal skills
· Solid understanding of P&L vs. balance sheet implications from insurable events
· Good understanding of how Corporate Solutions's products and solutions offerings add value to the clients
· Strong understanding of the fundamentals of the direct insurance business
