Supporting the Group Financial Controller (GFC) to provide the right level of challenge, analysis and interpretation of actual and forecasted financial data. The Group Financial Reporting Manager acts as a custodian of the standard processes and controls, and the value and integrity of the results. Managing a skilled, professional and motivated team. ? Adherence to the Group's accounting policies and ensuring their correct and consistent application across the financial reporting team. ? Applying appropriate financial control and governance adhering to the group accounting manual, policies and control framework, to support successful external audit outcomes and the GFC in driving improved disciplines and controls across the Group. ? Provide quality technical and analytical support to the GFC, Chief Financial Officer and the group to establish finance as a true 'business partner' ? Provide real value through the provision of quality, timely and accurate information, highlighting issues and trends. ? Assist in the development of a best-in- class close cycle for management reporting and review framework to support business performance ? Review of month end results for discussion with the Group Financial Controller. ? Ownership of all balance sheet reconciliations to ensure they meet the required standard and ensuring action plans are closed out within agreed timescales and reporting of associated management information. ? Ownership of the group consolidation process and production of the management and statutory accounts. ? Ownership of the reconciliation of GAAP to statutory accounts ? Responsible for the review and delivery of Overhead reports for Functional and Business Leaders and support for all financial matters. ? Maintain excellent working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders ? Understand the systems, processes and business issues experienced by internal stakeholders to enable value added challenge of their reports to the Group. ? Coordination of any internal or external audit requirements ensuring high quality, on time deliverables. ? To provide data and explanations as requested for the statutory and regulatory financial reporting. ? Advocate of continual business improvement of process and policy leading to increased accuracy, timeliness and automation of financial information such that the business is competitive in its chosen markets and recognised for providing value for money. ? Support the GFC with the financial systems strategy and implementation. ? Development of Group Financial Reporting team with appropriate succession planning in place. ? Deputise for the GFC it and as required. ? Ad-hoc financial reporting, analysis and decision support as needed. General (All Employees) ? Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities that are deemed appropriate by your line management. ? Participate and engage fully in company appraisal/performance review processes and constantly work to improve your individual, your team and the wider group's performance. QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING: Required: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
