UX Designer / Up to £65,000 / London (with some UK travel) A great opportunity has come to light for Franklin Bates where a huge innovative business and digital services organisation are looking for a highly skilled and pioneering UX Designer to join their artistic and creative team. The team HQ is based in Central London - just a stone throws away from a well serviced tube station so this makes for a straight forward commute and a thriving work place. Your daily duties will include working within different departments and teams including design, development and presentation for the creation and delivery of a range of products. As a key part of the project delivery team where you'll be mainly based, you'll be closely working with transformation managers, product management, content design and service design to help our clients succeed in the digital economy. You will have a positive, can do attitude with a solution led mindset. You will be able to think outside the box and look at the bigger picture but also focus on the smaller details that can make visions and ideas a reality. Your work will support service managers by creating new and useful user insights and translating them into features and actions that will allow them to iteratively improve their service for users. You will have the following skills set: - Passionate about User Research with an analytical mindset - Have experience using various user testing methodologies - The ability to execute UX strategies through best practice processes to deliver an effective product in an Agile environment - You will also be comfortable working with data, from gathering and analysis through to design and presentation - Desktop and mobile UI design skills - Strong experience and success as a UI and UX Designer - Scrum and Agile experience - Experience prototyping ideas using tools such as Balsamiq or Axure - Strong experience using responsive HTML5 & CSS3 - Customer focused with the ability to be empathic and patient - Exceptional problem-solving skills on all levels - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to apply this with all stakeholders This position is offered on a permanent basis and will involve UK wide travel to various client.
