Infrastructure Technical Architect - Best-in-Class Managed Services Provider. A high calibre Managed Service Provider in central London requires a highly capable technical infrastructure guru to join them as a Technical Architect, to design modern technology solutions for clients across the city. Clients are typically Financial Services businesses of several thousand users. This exceptional MSP has a solid platform from which to expand, delivering solutions across the full infrastructure estate, with particular emphasis on cloud (Private Cloud, AWS, Azure). This is a customer facing position encompassing the full range of responsibilities typical of a Technical Architect for an IT Services Provider; Presales consulting/advisory (not the core purpose of the position), Solution design, Documentation, Project planning, Project implementation (leading a team of highly capable 3rd line engineers). Key core technology experience/skills: - Proven track record of detailed infrastructure design and solutions - Public, private and hybrid cloud: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. Experience of on premise to Azure or AWS migrations highly beneficial. - Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Backup and Recovery - Good knowledge of Virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc) - Network transformation; LAN/WAN, unified comms, telephony etc This position will suit a "hands-on" Technical Infrastructure Architect or 3rd Line Engineer with Architecture/Solution Design experience, a strong understanding of emerging technologies (particularly Cloud) and a drive to support business operations through technology solutions.
