Technical Business Analyst Technical Business Analyst required to join a one of the UK's largest wholesalers who specialise in the distribution of pharmaceutical products throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland. This is a permanent opportunity based in Doncaster paying a salary of £45-50k per annum. The Company The group operates from multiple sites, serving over 4000 customers, employing over 600 people and are very much in growth mode following success in many areas over recent years. The Role Reporting to the IT Director the Technical Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analysing and documenting business change requirements, proposing and specifying suitable solutions for a variety of large and/or complex business change projects, initially focusing on the implementation of a corporate ERP solution. You will be required to establish and maintain strong working relationships with the business throughout the change lifecycle and to help co-ordinate the successful delivery of change implementation from within the Change and IT team. Key Responsibilities - Gathering the business requirements. - Determining operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information and evaluating input/output requirements and formats. - Analysis of systems and business processes/practices - Critically analysing requirements, translating them into functional/non-functional specifications; - Construction of workflow diagrams; - - Studying existing capabilities and identifying any gaps which may hinder a successful implementation; - Assistance in the selection/design of new systems/business solutions. - Study of current working processes/practices and recommending/designing improvements/modifications as appropriate. - Identification of problems/short-comings, offering recommendations for appropriate controls/mitigations. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have solid experince working as a Technical BA within the full Software Development Lifcycle (SDLC) in areas including but not limited to; - Rapid Application Development - Test-Driven Development - Waterfall Model - Iterative Model - Extreme Programming - Scaled Agile Framework - Agile Model - Scrum - Rational Unified Process - Big Bang Model - V-Model - Conceptual Model - Kaizen Model - Kanban Model - Spiral Model Other Key Experiences - Experience of delivering successful projects in a technical IT environment - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the business. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience of Enterprise Resource Planning implementation projects.
