I'm currently looking to speak to candidates interested in; - Greenfield project/innovation lab - Dublin City Centre. - 12-month rolling contracts - rates of up to EUR500 a day (DOE). As a Mid-Senior level Java Developer you will be working on a variety of greenfield projects across the business. As part of the new Innovation Lab, you will be given a chance to work on brand new flexible platforms to try new things and be creative - allowing you to bring your own ideas to the table. Ultimately you will have a big impact on this brand new part of the business. There are also a number of other projects that you can gain exposure to as the client has plans to work on the following: - Client Experience: part of this involves creating client facing portals using Angular 2/4. - Robotic Process Automation: end goal is to add efficiencies so the business can scale. - Data Science: working to able machine learning and big data analytics. - Digital Enablement: internal/external APIs, DevOps, etc Requirements - Java8 / Spring (Boot/Cloud/Integration) / Hibernate / TDD / BDD / Scrum / Web Services / Maven / Docker - 8+ years of experience designing, developing and deploying Java Applications. - Oracle experience a key advantage. Experience with MongoDB, Hadoop, Tableau or Apache Spark would be a key differentiator. - Agile / Scrum familiarity an advantage. - Experience in SOAP & REST based services is a requirement - Experience with DevOps and Docker an advantage - Experience in mobile applications development, web development and rapid prototyping a distinct advantage - The ability to thrive in an innovative and ambiguous working environment is important.
