Java Developer (Java 8 Spring Maven Jenkins jUnit) I currently have a great role for a Java Developer who is looking for a role that will give them a defined progression pathway to a Senior Java Developer. This role is with a mature staged start-up who are changing the way that companies view and implement their Cyber Security platforms across their business through using Big Data analytics. The role as a Java Developer will enable you to work across multiple aspects of their platform. You will be working on: *Working on a RESTful API that is built with Java and Spring. This will involve adding new functionality and ensuring that as their customer needs grow new functionality is added *Working on their frameworks that allows for the data scientists to analyse large volumes of customer data. This is built with Java and Scala. *Work on the data ingestion pipeline for which will involve consuming third party APIs that have been exposed. For a Java Developer to be considered for this role there are a few requirements to be met for this role: *Will have come from a Java Development background and worked on developing at least one application. *Be comfortable running unit tests and understand the principles of TDD *Have worked in an environment that has an established CI/CD pipeline *Have and Understanding of Big Data/Scala and willing to learn them For the right Java Developer, there is a salary of £55,000, company shares, a training budget, the opportunity to cross train into Scala and a great social environment that includes free weekly lunch, social clubs and beers every Friday.
