Global Insurance company is seeking an experienced PA / Risk & Compliance Assistant to support at their City of London headquarters. This is a temporary to permanent position to start ASAP and will pay between £15.00 and £18.00 per hour whilst temping. The PA / Risk & Compliance will provide a wide range of administrative and secretarial support services to support regulatory compliance and the relationship with our regulators. They will play a part in supporting the monitoring of regulatory developments, preparing documents, organising diaries and activities, maintaining logs, dealing with incoming information and filing. Duties include: - Assisting the Regulatory Risk & Compliance team to review, develop and maintain appropriate regulatory risk strategies and practices. - Supporting the overall delivery of the team's plans and objectives. - Managing the process to obtain appropriate compliance and solvency certificates and letters of good standing for overseas businesses to required standard and deadlines. - Managing the process of providing management information to be sent to the PRA/FCA ensuring it is sent in a timely and effective manner. - Supporting the ongoing relationship with the UK regulators and provide assistance with building relationship with new contacts, including planning and facilitating induction training. - Managing organisation and arrangement of schedule of meetings requested by the UK regulators. This will include extensive liaison and coordination with the regulators and members of the Group Board and Senior Executives. - Preparing documentation as required, including presentations, creatively formatting and presenting information when necessary. - Organising diaries, meetings, travel and itineraries so as to make the best use of Leaders' time and meet their requirements and priorities. - Handling sensitive and/or confidential information and/or documentation with appropriate discretion and regard security of data and information. The ideal PA / Risk & Compliance Assistant will have the following knowledge, skills and experience: - Significant secretarial and administrative experience - Experience of interaction and communication with stakeholders at the highest level - Experience of research and analysis of information from multiple sources to identify the key components. - Experience of working within a compliance environment - Excellent organisational, time management, communication and administrative skills to deal with conflicting priorities and demands. - Excellent IT skills, including all MS Office packages - Proactive and able to use own initiative. - Good attention to detail and able to collect and analyse information.
