Project Engineer Location: Manchester or Liverpool Salary: Circa £35k A specialist company who design and manufacture high powered PCB's now requires a Project Engineer to join their team. This would be an ideal role for a graduate who is looking for further career training and development Project Engineer - Job Role: Working closely within an international team, internal departments and customers, you will be the project leader for the technical development of new and existing products. You will responsible for: - Review and analysis of customer schematics, drawings and requirement specifications - Development and final review of technical project proposals - Creation of technical specification documentation for electromechanical / electronic products - Administration using ABAS software - Create and maintain Project Folders - New component definitions / orders - Project pipeline / milestones - Database maintenance - Creation of BOM's and costing of new products - Liaise with internal departments to produce project timing plans in line with customer demands - Problem resolution (quality / delivery / components) - Review quality / customer-specific requirements and complete quality documentation - Review of customer prototype orders with Project Manager - New product production support: - Create production documentation for prototypes / production - Creation of Gerber files (complex projects can be subcontracted) - Organize Production and special tooling - Sign-off technical documentation - Customer visits / technical support at exhibitions Project Engineer - Person Requirements: The ideal candidate MUST come from an Electrical / Electronic Engineering background as a Project Engineer. You will also have the following skills, qualifications & experience: - Hold a recognised engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering - Experience of PCB's - Power electronics - Automotive / Specialist vehicle systems knowledge - Project management experience - Knowledge of PCB Layouting - Common automotive communication systems (CAN / LIN / FlexRay / Ethernet) For more information please call Paul Gorton on ************** LEAN Engineering Recruitment Ltd are acting as a 3rd party on behalf of our client.
