Global Datacentre/Infrastructure Lead - £70-75k - London (EC3N) - Permanent

A progressive and innovative, international client of DGH's are seeking a Global Datacentre/Infrastructure Lead to join them on a permanent basis, based at their London HQ (EC3N).

This will be a very hands on position where the successful candidate should expect to maintain a 75% / 25% split in favour of hands on technical work. You will be responsible for managing a small global team as well.

This position will suit an individual who is accustomed to operating within a fast paced, global environment with the ability to manage global scale project initiatives, daily operational support and deliver design/architect level work.

The following skills and experience are desired for this position:

Key Skills:

* Minimum of 4 years' experience in an IT Operations team, managing a complex and global IT environment.
* Strong leadership skills and experience of managing other team members.
* Experience of designing and managing offsite data centres.
* Experience of working in an ITIL operational process environment. Ideally ITIL certified at practitioner level or equivalent.
* Well-developed troubleshooting skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A good understanding of working with the business to align IT solutions with business needs.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Professional manner with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
* Dedicated and hard-working.


* Good working knowledge of: NetApp storage systems, Cisco UCS Flexpod environments, VMWare, Backup technologies
* Administrator level exposure to MS Exchange (2007 / 2013), SQL Server, and Cisco call manager are beneficial.
* Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Windows Server 2003/2008/2012.
* Active Directory management eg. user account management, group policy management,
* A well developed understanding of network technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANs.
