Legal Assistant job, based in Bromley, £21,000 - £26,000 working for a local legal practice


Your new company
This legal practice in Bromley who cover South London and Kent are looking for a Legal Assistant to support the daily administrative functions of the business with in their Private Client department.

Your new role
You will be supporting the business with all round administrative functions, specifically with in the private client department, therefore it is essential for this role that you have had experience working with in this specialism. You will be supporting fee-earners and non-fee earners ensuring documents are produced accurately, filed and saved correctly. You will be required to liaise with the Lawyers with in the business, ensuring the highest level of service is being provided to clients. You will be managing Lawyer's diaries, booking appointments, answering telephone calls and directing appropriately, updating and maintaining system, producing presentations, reports and spreadsheets and all other ad-hoc administrative tasks.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working with in a legal practice, specialising in working with private clients will get you off to a flying start in your new role. Either a legal secretary or assistant with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and a typing speed of 60wpm would be a perfect fit for this role. It is essential you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be first point of contact for many clients. You must be able to build rapport with these clients and internal employees and create working relationships. You must be extremely organised and have good time keeping skills as you will often be working to tight deadlines.

What you'll get in return
You will receive an annual salary of £21,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on experience. Your working hours will be staggered from 8.00am-6.00pm, depending on work requirements and schedules. Your new office is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport.
