A well established organisation specialising in manufacturing and distribution of highest quality double glazed sealed units for supply throughout the UK. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced, proactive and highly self-motivated multi skilled maintenance engineer to complement their established and successful team. As a maintenance engineer you will report to the senior management team, the successful candidate will be tasked with performing a range of planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities on a diverse selection of plant, equipment and facilities within a busy manufacturing environment. Working closely with the manufacturing team, you will devise and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules and manage all aspects of stores and replacement parts to ensure any machine downtime is minimised, whilst proactively developing a daily, weekly and monthly checklist to ensure optimal plant operation at all time. With previous experience in the fault find, diagnosis and repair of PLC and CNC controlled special purpose machinery, you will thrive within a pressurised multi skilled environment in which quality of product and highest levels of customer satisfaction are paramount at all times. To be considered for this varied and challenging role, it is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate relevant qualifications within an engineering discipline and possess experience gained within a multi discipline maintenance environment. Experience of continuous improvement and the implementation of lean methodologies within a busy manufacturing environment will prove distinctly advantageous.
