Senior Pension Administrator £25k - £28k Our client a UK leading specialist in pensions and employee benefits, providing a wide range of advisory and compliance services to over 550 pension scheme clients are looking for a Pensions Administrator within their Defined Benefit team. Main duties and responsibilities - Maintenance of membership records and other documentation - Reviewing colleagues work - Providing support to the Tceam Leader/Manager - Understanding and application of benefits structures, Trust Deed and Rules, the - impact on benefits of HMRC regulations and a broad understanding of the new - pension flexibilities - Project work as directed by Team Leader or Manager - Liaison with Client, Scheme Actuary, Consultants, Providers, Pension Payroll, - Members and third parties - Provision of technical information both verbally and in writing - Dealing confidently with member enquiries by phone, email and letter - Providing general support to the Project Team - Ensuring that work is prioritised correctly so that target dates are met - Training new members of the team as and when required Job Requirements Essential - Substantial DB pensions experience - Able to demonstrate ownership, responsibility and accountability for self - Ability to review/check work for junior members of the team - Be organised, methodical and logical in approach to delegated responsibilities - Has high standards, excellent quality and customer responsiveness - Able to plan and then be flexible with that plan - Be proactive, having drive and commitment - Strong written and communication skills - Has a can do attitude and takes pride in work - Able to communicate effectively - Pays attention to detail - Good numeracy skills - Computer literate in the use of MS Office products, such as Excel and Word - Good decision maker, able to recognise the impact of decisions, having good judgement - Strong team player - Willingness to get involved in any aspect of data and benefit audit related work connected to PPF assessment, buy in /out projects, GMP reconciliation, any other administration project. - Contribute to project work solutions via team meetings/project meetings Desirable - Willingness to undertake Pensions Management Institute (PMI) exams - General o Compliance with ISO27001 o Support other team members as and when needed o Ensure that all errors and omissions are reported in accordance with team policy - Additional Details - We offer an attractive reward package, typical benefits can include: - Competitive salary - Participation in Discretionary Bonus Scheme - 23 days holiday, rising to 25 days after two years` service - Pension Plan - Flexible Benefits Scheme to support you in and out of work, helping you look after - you and your family covering Security & Protection, Health & Wellbeing, Lifestyle - Life Assurance cover - Additional company highstreet offers - If you are interested and think you have the right attributes with previous Pension Administrator experience then APPLY by submitting your cv to [Email address removed] or CALL NOW [Phone number removed]
