Java Developer - Tibco - Banking - £750/day - 6 month contract Our client is an investment bank based in the city that are looking for a java developer with a thorough understanding of the Tibco Business Works Suite to join on a 6 month rolling contract paying around £750/day. The role will sit in the prime brokerage department and sit in a team that provide development and technical support for Post Trade Processing. The key purposes of the role are as follows: * Responsibility for Software Development and Level 3 Support for Tibco Business Works and JAVA related systems / interfaces providing new capabilities supporting the Bilateral FX & OTC Clearing business within MARK/PRM. * Understand requirements and translate to a technical solution. * Involvement in software development around Kondor+ and K+TP and other associated tools/interfaces. All such development to be in accordance with agreed SPRINT prioritisation meeting requirements. * Responsibility for unit testing and preparation of software releases for deployment into production. * Provide Level 3 Support as may be required including some out of hours. The key skills required for the roles are as follows: * Languages / Tools: SQL, Tibco Business Works Active Matrix Suite * Languages / Tools : XML, XSLT, Java, SpringBoot & Maven (preferred) * Database : Sybase ASE (or similar) * Operating Systems : Solaris or Linux * Middleware Tools (e.g. RV. JMS & MQ) * Unix Shell Scripting, AWK, Perl Programming * Prepare Functional Specifications, Design Documents & UAT Test Cases * Version Control System (e.g. SVN/GIT) and Software Release Packaging * Debugging / Unit and Integration Testing * SDLC Methodology, JIRA Agile & Change Management * Configuration Management Tools (preferred) If you are interested to learn more then please send your CV for immediate consideration.
