My London based client is currently seeking a Digital Project Manager to work within the web development team. The Digital Project Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day running of projects across the in-house developers and platforms that make up the marketing stack with an effort to ensure delivering the best possible experience online to our users. They are looking for someone to not only get involved with the team and delivery process, but to plan, handle issues, report KPIs and handle all elements of UAT. This person will be responsible for the quality and timeliness of deliverables to the project in both advisory and project delivery capacities. You will lead the requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and manage change in relation to specified requirements, including assessment of impact, communication, and supporting planning and prioritization whilst ensuring UX is 'best in class'. It is your responsibility to monitor any timelines, progress and report feedback from the user base to measure performance of the product. The right individual will be responsible for establishing an overall roadmap and quality control vision for the production of new marketing capabilities. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to collaborate across a multi-functional team and have a history of measureable success. Responsibilities: - Act as the key interface between the development team and Marketing, translating Marketing's requirements into user stories, running the development meetings and ensuring that shippable product is delivered on time and in an agile manner. - Establishes an appropriate course of action to meet project goals, sets up metrics and quality control processes to ensure reliability of performance, monitors performance and takes action when necessary to meet deadlines. - Be the key contact point for everything related to marketing automation and operations. The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of the relevant data, processes, systems, projects and plans. - Have a good level of knowledge of Scrum methodology and be able to manage the team using Scrum; maintaining the product backlog, burndown rates and run the daily standups, assigning tasks to the relevant team members. - Manage the team effectively, ensuring that developers are clear on what is expected and are delivering against agreed plans. - Establishes an appropriate course of action to meet project goals, sets up metrics and quality control processes to ensure reliability of performance, monitors performance and takes action when necessary to meet deadlines. - Put in place any new processes and workflows required in order to develop capabilities for customer acquisition and retention and support the drive for operational efficiency - Be able to proactively identify ways in which to deliver quality improvements and efficiency in relation to marketing data, solutions and processes - Drive improvements and innovation in relation to lead management, automated marketing efforts, operational insight and automation project management to help refine marketing activities. - Lead a team of technical resources - guide, direct and motivate individuals or groups towards accomplishment of a common goal Requirements: - Hands-on with strategic planning. - Comfortable being an all-rounder with key areas of deep expertise and a significant breadth of knowledge. - Ability to "talk tech" when needed. - Happy to get stuck-in to get the job done. - Embrace learning and development philosophy and believe that doing is the best way of learning. - Highly organised and skilled at prioritisation as well as able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. - Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates a rigor for testing - Committed to fostering an excellent customer/stakeholder experience. - Strong awareness of business drivers and commercial acumen - Use industry best-practice techniques to design, implement and then deliver solutions. - Experience: - Solid project management and team leadership experience. - Strong management experience and leading a small team of developers. - Experience in technical projects and agile methodology. - Confident enough to work without a high level of supervision.
