Salesforce Admin/Developer I am working with a highly credible telecoms company who is looking for a Salesforce Admin/Developer to join their Development team. Key Responsibilities: *Manage the day-to-day administration and monitoring of the Salesforce solution, and act as the subject matter expert for Salesforce. *Liaise with IT infrastructure services and other third parties, in support of applications *maintenance and development activities. *Define, plan and manage releases of application updates. *Support improvement initiatives involving business applications. *Support the strategy for strategic, tactical and maintenance activities. *Investigate, develop, implement and test new technology, methods, systems and services for use within in Salesforce. *Help train Managers and Staff on new services, tools and processes. Key requirements: *Significant Salesforce Development experience *Salesforce Certified Platform Developer preferred, but not required *Strong knowledge around configuration, integration and customisation *Proven experience implementing, configuring and customising solutions using Salesforce *Expert knowledge of ********* skills, including, SOQL/SOSL, APEX, Triggers and Visualforce *Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java (ideally), C#, C++ *Understanding of software development cycle models, specifically Agile / Scrum *Web Services development and/or experience with the Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/MetaData, etc.) *Experience with Financial Force (ideally) *Familiarity with JavaScript and other web technologies (HTML, CSS) *Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical solutions in non-technical language *The ability to analyse problems and identify effective solutions *Working knowledge of VoIP and Telephony preferred, but not required.
