IT Infrastructure Engineer - Music Technology Business - London - Active Directory, Hyper-V, PowerShell,AWS Futureheads are working with a leading technology-powered music services company, who are currently hiring for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their London team. This global company are innovating the music business with their suite of applications, which greatly benefits the artist and industry. The business is going through a period of growth, and are looking for an IT infrastructure engineer to support 500 users, over 10 offices worldwide. The current team includes another IT infrastructure engineer, the IT Manager, a network engineer and a global support team who you will work with on the design, implementation, maintenance and documentation of their infrastructure. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer will also get to have input on the IT strategy, and will work on a variety of new and ongoing projects, including general infrastructure improvements including the introduction of cloud technologies where appropriate, in order to handle their rapid growth. Simultaneously, you will take on some 3rd line support responsibilities as the final point of escalation, and will be able to deal with any potential issues as they arise. The ideal person for this role will come from a Medium sized business, and will have dealt with the scale of a business previously and will therefore be able to have input on how this team can handle the same growth. The current infrastructure consists of over 70 physical and virtual Windows servers globally, the majority of which are Windows Server 2012, and a growing install base of Windows Server 2016. What experience will you need? - You will currently be an Infrastructure Engineer, with a background in 3rd line support. - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, and PowerShell. - Strong knowledge of storage and backup technologies, particularly Veeam. - Experience working with AWS is ideal, and knowledge of cloud technologies such as MimeCast, Box/Dropbox, Okta and Envoy. - Networking experience is a bonus, such as experience with Cisco and Meraki. - Experience with collaboration tolls such as Office 365 and Slack. Ideally you will have worked in a multi-site organisation, in a media business although this is not necessary. It is most beneficial that you can work well in a collaborative environment and that you are excited about IT and exploring what is happening next in the industry.
