As a Senior Desktop Support Engineer you will be a technical point of escalation for the team, resolving incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs whilst following ITIL best practices. Also you will be tasked with ensuring the successful delivery of desktop projects when required. Duties * Assure continuity of the computer desktop and laptop system for all users * Be the primary point of contact for technical escalations in the team and help plug knowledge gaps. * Maintaining desktop builds and software packages within SCCM * Establish and maintain internal processes and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient operation, maximize productivity, and minimize errors * Project manage and deliver on desktop projects within agreed deadlines * Providing 1st/2nd boarding 3rd line assistance and advice to users on both existing and new services Previous Experience * Minimum of 2 years plus' experience in a senior support role * 2nd and 3rd Line support experience * In-depth knowledge of SCCM specifically image creation and remote software deployment management and desktop and laptop maintenance * Previous experience with large scale projects and deployments * Proficient with using Windows 7 & Windows 8 (building/configuring, installing, setting up and administering computers in a network environment) * Proficient knowledge of supporting Office 2010 or above/Microsoft Outlook 2013 * Experience using any of the following ITSM ticket management systems (Cherwell, Remedy, Service Now or ZenDesk) to manage all incidents and requests.
