My Client an established global technology company is looking to recruit a QA Tester to join their London office of 80, located close to Central London. The company produces cloud based video on demand services and TV applications, and works in an agile methodology. The company has a software engineering mind-set, and maintains a fun and sociable environment. The successful applicant will work within the QA team, assisting with the preparation of test plans and the testing of software to company guidelines and standards. My client is looking to expand the current QA team of 5 based in London a role ideal for a QA Tester looking for their second job, which will offer a high chance of progression and the long-term opportunity to work with a variety of clients. The QA Tester will be working within an agile team, comprised of a Scrum Master, BA, Architect, Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers and Testers. The role is a response to an increased volume of work the client is experiencing due to its recent growth, having almost doubled in size, with plans to continue expanding. The role will provide the opportunity to work with high level technologists for exciting clients on large complex projects that are likely to used and viewed by millions. QA Tester Responsibilities: - Assisting the preparation of test cases and scripts. - Participating in executing and maintenance of automated testing tools and scenarios. - Developing and executing testing across platforms and devices. - To feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with schedule and quality requirements. - Provide estimates and feedback to the Software Development team for project scheduling purposes. QA Tester Requirements: - Experience writing test scripts for Selenium. - Knowledge and understanding of test analysis, test execution and defect management. - Multi-platform testing experience. - Technical understanding to facilitate effective communication with the Development team. - Knowledge and understanding of agile development. - Analytical and logical thinking. - Experienceworking in a .NET environment and writing automation scripts with C# is preferable but not essential.
