24x7 Shift based Third Line Technical Remote Support Engineer. Server, Azure, 365 and Microsoft cloud services. Must have worked for a Manager Service Provider. As a 24x7 Shift Shift Second/Third Line Technical Remote Support Engineer you will be responsible for : Technical and service support for our clients managed services customers Your function will include responsibility for managing and maintaining customer's services in line with agreed Service Level Agreements. As a Second Line Support remote support analyst you will provide both reactive and proactive customer support. You will look to find ways to reduce incident management support through automation, remediation and proactive customer support. Extra duties on an out-of-hours basis may be required from time to time and are considered part of the role. This includes travelling to client sites and other company offices, dependent on the work load and location of customer. Customers are mainly UK based but some international travel may be required. As third Line Remote Support Engineer you will have: 1.Minimum of 12 months work experience in a 3rd line technical role for a managed service provider 2.Experienced working in a high availability environment, working on live systems where reliability, uptime and meeting SLA's are crucial 3.Proven customer-centric IT service Delivery experience 4.Current Windows Server 2008/2012 or equivalent Azure MCP 5.Strong Microsoft Office suite skills 6.Experience managing and maintaining RMMS tools 7.Advanced problem solving ability and troubleshooting 8.Excellent organisational skills and time management practices, working well in a team environment 9.Hands on experience of Linux technologies - including CentOS and Red Hat operating systems. 10.Able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels 11.Good knowledge of IT concepts and architectures 12.Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers 13.Grounded IT experience with a high general technical competence and a good breadth of knowledge 14.Experience in handling customer complaints 15.Be able to analyze issues, investigate, identify causes and implement robust resolutions 16.Taking ownership of issues from reporting through to resolution 17.Proven ability and desire to improve methods of working 18.Extensive experience of installing and administrating MS Windows Server (2008/2012) and Client technologies up to Windows 10 (minimum 12 months) Desirable 1.MCP Qualified in current supported Windows Operating System and Server. 2.In depth knowledge of System Centre suite both at deployment and operations level. 3.Experience in problem management and change/release management principles. 4.ITIL Foundation certified 5.Current Windows Server Operating System MCSE 6.Understanding of Azure including management and support 7.Recent relevant experience and qualifications in MS Exchange Server technologies 2007 to the latest versions) and its interaction with Windows Server, Active Directory and client technologies 8.Awareness of other MS Business technologies, for example, IIS6/7, SQL (to 2008), WSUS and CRM 9.Knowledge of Microsoft System Center, particularly Operations Manager & Configuration Manager. 10.General Awareness of VMware and Hyper-V environments 11.Up to date Microsoft qualifications i.e. Skype for Business, Azure, Office 3 So if you are third remote support Engineer looking for your next exciting career move please apply now!
