Central London - Contractor required. Up to 6 months Security Operations Contractor required for a Global Technology Focussed Company based in Central London. Reporting into the Head of Technology as a Security Operations Lead Contractor you will be required to handle the following tasks on a contract basis: - All tasks will be related to security and working in collaboration and liaising with different technical teams - Conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments throughout all security procedures - Identifying integration issues and rectifying where necessary - Monitoring and responding to potential security issues in the business - Conducting system security and vulnerability analysis and risk assessments - Working with external security providers on penetration testing and other security related services - Providing reports to management - Developing and documenting security architecture policies - Keeping abreast of all security issues both internally and externally to the business With this being a hands on role, you will be required to monitor and respond to a number of potential security issues in a fast and timely manner ensuring that the company is adhering to their security policies at all times. The ideal Security Operations Contractor will possess the following: Experience 3 years experience in at least two IT disciplines which could be security operations or information security for an example. At least 3 years experience of operational information security handling its applications and supporting tools. You will have experience in but not limited to; - Sophos AV - Qualys vulnerability management - Firewalls- desirable - Active Directory monitoring tools - Microsoft Windows Server-­Client environment, - Experience with Active Directory GPO - AWS This is a contract role in a central London worldwide company, please apply now for immediate consideration.
