Position: Senior Finance Business Partner Location: Croydon, Nottingham or Plymouth Contract type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week (36 Croydon) or PT Salary: £50,866 (£54,755 Croydon) to £57,728 (£61,617 Croydon) per annum Closing Date: w/c 15 October 2017 Interview date: w/c 23 October 2017 About the Role: HM Land Registry (HMLR) is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team in Croydon, Nottingham or Plymouth. This is a high-profile role requiring interaction with stakeholders at all levels, gaining an in-depth understanding of the business and acting as the interface between central Finance and the business. You will be a member of the Finance senior management team and manage a small team of finance professionals, developing their capabilities as well as contributing to improving financial awareness and capability within the business. You will lead on the provision of high quality, timely management information and insight, optimising the use of financial modelling, systems and tools to support evidence-based decision making. You will assess and provide advice to directorates/change programmes on the development of robust investment appraisals and business cases and assist with ensuring HMLR achieves robust budgets and forecasts for your allocated areas of the business. About You: The successful applicant will be a fully qualified accountant with the ability to help shape the provision of business partnering in HMLR, with experience of delivering a proactive business partnering service. You will be able to build relationships with senior stakeholders, using excellent communication skills to influence and constructively challenge them and use strong leadership skills in promoting good financial management practice within the business.
