Part-time Maths teacher required for independent SEN school near Bedford
Your new school
This is a small and supportive specialist education institution which is based in between the Bedford and Luton areas in a lovely rural setting. The school is part residential and caters for pupils between the ages of 8 and 18 years of age who have had a difficult start to life. The pupils have a range of complex histories and needs, so will need individual support. The classes are very small in size and there are many Teaching Assistants supporting within the school too.
Your new role
The school are looking for a Maths teacher on a part-time, permanent basis two and a half days per week, possibly increasing over the time. The role will be delivering Maths across Key Stages and abilities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be a qualified teacher of Maths with a passion for making a difference. Ideally you will have experience working with pupils with SEN previously. The right personality fit is most important to the role and the ability to work with pupils with varying needs.
