Our Client, a rapidly expanding organisation within the Service sector is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to join their busy team on a contract basis. With over 140 branches the company have grown significantly and this is a great time to join the organisation. An ideal candidate will be proactive, a good team manager and able to grow and develop the organisation through effective marketing and brand strategy implementation. The role will primarily involve driving and delivering the well-defined marketing strategy and brand plan for 2017/18, as well as implementing the marketing strategy as agreed with the Exec team.
Key Responsibilities: •Managing and developing the corporate brand strategy •Driving an increase in market share through product and channel (email, digital, telephone and home visits) •Managing marketing support and actions for new acquisitions, refurbishment programmes and cold starts•Delivering marketing plans and national events calendar utilising traditional print and in-brand POS, digital media, PR, TV and email•Building a ‘test & learn’ programme to maximise efficiency of local budgets •Building a digital footprint to become the brand of choice through website/mobile development, Google My Business, affiliates, online directories, online content marketing and social media•Driving established plans for growth in sales, volume and margins for a rapidly growing national network •Effective daily management of the wider marketing team – 4 direct reports
Essential Requirements: •10+ years of marketing experience, including familiarity with multi-site consumer services or retail business •Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts•Previous experience of successfully leading teams•Experience across a range of marketing disciplines (brand, communication, CRM/direct marketing and retail marketing) •Proven Project management experience – planning through to delivery•Organised, able to multi-task and manage own work load•An excellent communicator and listener•Educated to degree level (desirable)•Computer literate and confident with reportingThis is a full time, fixed term contract opportunity, and is an exciting chance to join a growing company working at the forefront of their industry.
