We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team. You will need to be organised, enthusiastic and caring so that the children you support will make excellent progress.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with children
  • Good listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, school staff and a range of other professionals, both orally and in writing
  • The ability to build effective relationships with children and develop strategies to help remove barriers to learning
  • The ability to support a creative and inclusive early years curriculum
  • Self management skills i.e. good time management and the ability to prioritise
  • Motivation, enthusiasm, commitment, stamina and energy
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to be creative and use their initiative to engage a child
  • Patience and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
