We are currently recruiting for an Employment Services Assistant to join a Public Sector HR department, for an on-going period. This role will be ideal for an individual who has HR and Payroll experience looking to be a part of a friendly and professional team. Ideally the chosen candidate will have completed some formal training relating to Human Resources and/or Payroll but as a minimum will possess several years` experience and a have a proven track record within a mid to large Payroll and/or Human Resources environment. Duties within this role will include: - Dealing with recruitment applications - Arranging the interview process - Pre- employment checks - Administration relating to leavers - Assisting with Payroll and Salary of employees. - Adhering to all related financial, employment and pension legislation. The ideal candidate will also have experience of delivering standard administrative activities to short timescales, the ability to maintain a consistent high level of performance and proven experience and proficiency of data inputting and a good command of Word and Excel. This role is a temporary position and will likely be for a minimum of 2 / 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter.
