Chapman Tate are currently seeking a IT Support Engineer to join a one of the UK's fastest growing IT and Business Software providers, you will be joining a business full of challenges and opportunities. Core products include IT Infrastructure, IT Security, Accounts Software and Telecoms. My client has been delivering excellent solutions and services for over 25 years andare now looking for someone else to join the team and help. The team are responsible for providing fast and effective support to IT customers when things go wrong or they need guidance. The team not only provide technically accurate support but do so with empathy and understanding to make sure the customer experience is a positive one. Responsibilities: - Provide the first point of contact for customers for service desk calls. - Prioritise and allocate service desk calls to meet agreed SLA's. - Troubleshoot a range of infrastructure, virtualisation, cloud, desktop, network and server systems. - Ensure you always give the highest level of technical support possible. - To provide a clear and accurate assessment of a fault by establishing a root cause. Then rectify fault or procure an adequate solution though specification of parts or by referral to the appropriate team/third party provider. - Ensure all incoming calls on helpdesk maintain our SLA and where possible, first time fix rate. - Ensure that all remote monitoring tickets are logged and assigned appropriately. - Ensure that all Emails in IT Support Inbox are logged and assigned appropriately. - Ensure that customers are provided with a call reference both verbally and via email. Skills Required: - Great customer service skills, with experience communicating to clients at all levels. - Experience in a 1st line support or service desk role. - Microsoft Windows XP, 7 and 10. - Windows Server 2008, 2012. - Exchange 2010, 2013, SharePoint, Active Directory. - Hyper V, VMware. - Cloud Solutions (Office 365/Azure)
