A purchase ledger assistant is required for our client based in Ashford. The client is seeking an individual who is able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment, has strong communication skills both written and verbal, problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise workload. Candidates applying for this role must have good understanding of purchase ledger practices, working knowledge of accounting systems and strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Duties include - Daily input of purchase invoices and credit notes - Daily passing of invoices - ensure that any invoices without job numbers or costs are referred to relevant department. - Respond in a timely manner to customer/supplier queries - Scanning and filing - Reception desk duties, including visitors comply with aviation regulations and ensuring visitors are taken to waiting area or met by a staff member. Working Hours: 9am- 5.30pm Pay: up to £24,000 per annum
