Job Title: HR & Training Manager Salary: £30-40,000 depending on experience Location: Leicester Sector: Marketing ABOUT THE ROLE: Reporting to the Group CEO the HR Manager will set up, manage and develop a best practice Group HR function which supports the strategic plans and business objectives of this award winning market leader. KEY RESPONSIBILITES HR Management, Organisational Design, Planning & Administration - Provide timely and accurate advice on HR management activities, policies, practices, employment conditions and entitlements - Develop (and/or improve), document, and communicate HR policies and practices within the organisation - Assist in designing/redesigning organisational structures and roles to support business objectives - Design, develop and maintain an employee records management system (incorporating but not limited to, training and development, performance management, and recruitment/selection records, employment and exit documentation, and leave management). - Maintain and strengthen HR documentation (including but not limited to employment documentation, training, and performance management records). - Assist managers to develop and/or maintain compliance with all relevant Health and Safety policies and practices. - Develop, implement and review HR policies and procedures to promote best practice and ensure compliance with legislation. - Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, incorporating position descriptions, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking and induction. - Administer and enhance the employee performance appraisal process, including documentation - Provide coaching and respond to enquiries from managers and staff on performance appraisal, grievance or complaints procedures - Develop and implement a staff learning and development process (and supporting systems) to encourage professional development, enhance existing competencies, and promote staff retention. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Essential - 3-5 years HR Manager experience - Strong change management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills - Ability to communicate in a clear and confident manner - Ability to develop and lead team members - Capable of working well under his/her own initiative and able to meet deadlines - Self-motivated and enthusiastic - Willing to challenge the status quo to deliver positive change for the business Highly Desirable - Previous experience in high growth, forward thinking business Interested?
