Digital Manager Refuge is the UK's largest provider of specialist services for victims of all forms of gender-based violence (domestic, sexual, so called honour' violence, trafficking, prostitution, forced marriage, stalking and FGM). Every day we support over 5,000 women and children in our national network of services. These include Independent Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence Advocacy services (IDVAs/ISVAs and IGVAs), community outreach, specialist refuge accommodation, sanctuary services and culturally-specific services and the Freephone 24 Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline (run in partnership between Refuge and Women's Aid). We advise Government and lobby hard to keep violence against women and girls high on the public agenda. We run award-winning prevention and public education campaigns, managing a busy press office and website, and we are an accredited training provider. We give a voice to the voiceless. A key role within our communications team. A key role within our communications team, your job will be to advise colleagues on how to best use our digital channels to raise awareness of Refuge, generate income and increase engagement from our target audiences - women experiencing domestic violence and other forms of gender based violence*, family and friends, sector professionals, commissioners, event participants and donors. About you: Digital growth is a key part of our communications strategy as we are poised to launch our new website. Your experience and ideas will be very important in shaping how we best use and develop our digital channels to further enhance Refuge's reputation and profile. If you have significant experience of working in a web production or a digital communications role, and proven experience of managing websites and social media channels, we strongly encourage you to apply for this exciting, challenging role.
