A large Devon based organisation is now looking to recruit an experience IT Support professional. Responsibilities: - Ensure calls are logged and prioritised on the IT Service Management Tool and to resolve any IT issues within the business. - To provide 1st and 2nd line support. - Identify and resolve IT/Technology issues and problems, actively seeking and identifying trends, in calls, behaviours etc, to highlight and deal with underlying root causes to alleviate IT support requirements from end users. - Technology used: Data and Telecommunications, Unified Communications, MS Exchange 2003/2010, MS Windows operating systems, MS Office applications, Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, Networking Technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WLAN, WAN, ADSL, SSL, SMTP, FTP), Backup software and strategy, Anti-virus, Virtualisation, Security, Remote Access (Citrix Xenapp, SSL VPN). Requirements: - 2 years + 1st/2nd line support experience - Professional study experience such as MCSA,MCE, ITIL or CCNA
