£22k - £25k, Bromley, Kent I'm currently looking for an IT Technician for a school client based in Kent (they have an onsite contract). Apple education sales are booming and our client is a market leader in the UK. As such they are looking to expand their existing Educational Technical team by recruiting a suitably experienced ICT Support Technician based on one of their client sites in Bromley for 3 days a week with the remaining of the week performing installs at other school's in the south of the UK. The successful candidate will work alongside a Trainee Engineer working 3 days onsite to provide a full 5 day coverage for the school with cross over between the two engineers. This is an exciting and dynamic role for the successful applicant. You will also be provided Apple training as well as gaining Apple Accreditations. Essential Experience & Skills * Windows Server 2008 Support onwards * Knowledge of Active Directory * WDS Deployments * Windows 7 onwards * Symantec Backup Exec * Knowledge of hardware, fault diagnostics and repair * Flexible approach to changing workload priorities * Good communication skills * Must hold a full U.K driving license and have access to your own vehicle Desirable Experience * Experience with Rukus Wifi * Mobile Device Management Software (MDM) * iOS Management * Apple Mac Client and Server * Experience of user training * Capita SIMS Server and Client software * Working within the educational sector * Google Chrome Support Support Duties * Respond to end user requests regarding desktop and software application incidents, prioritising request and working to declines. * Windows Server Support - Managing and maintaining the existing windows servers * Facilitate repairs to faulty hardware including liaising with suppliers/ engineers and initiating short term solutions where required. * Deploy new Windows workstations * Ensuring successful daily backup of all the data using Symantec Backup Exec * To offer proactive end user service in order to minimise downtime * Perform software upgrades and push out new software * Managing support tickets for the school and other clients * Working on other sites performing installations of iOS and Mac Equipment along with Windows and Google Chrome.
